Positive Living Support Center

Positive Living Support Center is the center where counseling services are provided to people living with HIV face-to-face, over the phone and via the internet, where training/seminars and all meetings and events are organized, and which constitutes the management center of all projects of the association. It is the only physical center in Turkey where support services are provided to individuals living with HIV. Positive Living Support Center is based in Istanbul and provides support to all citizens of Turkey living with HIV. The support hotline (0216 418 10 61) is available every weekday between 09.00-18.00 hours.

Increasing Access of Most Vulnerable Groups to Protection Services

The Key Refugee Groups Project, which continues within the scope of the “Increasing Access of Most Vulnerable Groups to Protection Services” project, continues in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Turkey, Positive Living Association and Red Umbrella Sexual Health and Human Rights Association and with the financial support of the European Union Humanitarian Aid Operations. Within the scope of the Key Refugee Groups Project, psychosocial counseling, legal counseling, information and referral services, which are called protection services, are provided to LGBTI, sex worker and refugees living with HIV. The Key Refugee Groups Project aims to facilitate access to protection services through 6 service units: two in Istanbul and 6 service units in Ankara, Denizli, Eskişehir, Mersin.

The Men and Boys Project, which started in 2020 as part of the “Increasing Access of Most Vulnerable Groups to Protection Services” project, aims to provide protection services to refugee men and boys who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing sexual violence. The project continues in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Turkey and Positive Living Association and with the financial support of the European Union Humanitarian Aid Operations. The Men and Boys project aims to facilitate access to protection services through Adana and Izmir service units.

Health counseling, which started to be provided at the end of 2021, is carried out in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Turkey, Positive Living Association and Red Umbrella Sexual Health and Human Rights Association, with financial support from the The Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM).

Key Refugee Groups and Men and Boys projects are carried out in coordination. The Refugee Support Line (0850 888 05 39) is available in 4 languages: Arabic, Farsi, Turkish and English.

Within the scope of the program carried out by the Association of Civil Society Development Center to contribute to the survival, fulfillment of the main objectives and institutional development of CSOs carrying out rights-based work, a comprehensive program including mentoring support for institutional development is implemented.

Empowering to People Living with HIV in Turkey

The project, supported by Viiv Healthcare, aims to empower people living with HIV and support their capacity building through counseling and up-to-date HIV information.

HIV Testing Project

The most effective method to stop the spread of HIV infection is to ensure that individuals living with HIV are diagnosed and have access to treatment. In this context, in our country, individuals avoid getting tested due to stigmatization and discrimination. The outputs of the project, which provides free and reliable testing services to individuals who cannot access testing services because they do not want to share their identity information for HIV testing, are also being analyzed.
